Our Village Hall was built for the new millennium and opened by HRH King Charles III, then Prince of Wales, in September 2000.  Ideally located in the centre of the village, the Hall provides a wonderful space for a wide range of events.  Over the years, it has played host to community events, private parties and business functions. The Hall is right next to the playing fields and children's play area and is the perfect focal point for gatherings.

The Village Hall comprises of a main hall with a stage, a side room known as The Rest, a kitchen, WCs and parking. The decor is simple with plain walls and wooden floors, and plenty of light.

The John Assheton Hall - 14.6mtrs x 8.5mtrs (48ft x 28ft) plus a stage area 4.27mtrs x 8.5mtrs (14ft x 28ft), this light airy room has large french doors that open out onto a south facing terrace with views over open countryside.

The Rest - 6.4mtrs x 4.6mtrs (21ft x 15ft), this room can be used as an annexe to the main hall or independently. This room has double doors that open out onto the playing field. There is also a small quarter hatch to the kitchen area.

Both these rooms can be hired separately or together for exclusive use.
