On Friday 16th December, we invited Oaksey residents to come to The Rest for a pre-Christmas gathering with mulled wine, hot chocolate, sausage rolls, a raffle and a lucky dip for children. We had asked for homemade decorations to put on the Christmas tree just outside the Village Hall and turned the lights on to the backdrop of carols and laughter.
We intend to host another afternoon or evening this coming Christmas to bring the village together and wish each other well during the festive period.
